01No warranty
MergeCam is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, reliability, or uninterrupted operation. Because recording happens entirely in your browser, performance depends on your device, browser, and available resources — none of which we control.
02Limitation of liability
The developer holds zero liability for any data loss, corrupted files, missed recordings, or any other damages arising from the use or inability to use MergeCam. You use this tool entirely at your own risk.
03Consent and lawful use
You are solely and entirely responsible for obtaining consent from anyone you record — including screen content, audio, and any other participants — and for complying with the recording, wiretapping, and privacy laws that apply in your location. MergeCam has no way to know what you're recording or who is involved, and takes no responsibility for that decision.
04No account, no guarantees of persistence
Because there are no accounts or servers, we cannot recover lost files, restore a session, or guarantee availability of this website at any given time. Save your recordings responsibly, and keep your own backups.
05Change of ownership
If this website or its underlying asset changes ownership or is sold, the acquiring entity assumes 100% of the operational liabilities and responsibilities for MergeCam from the date of that transfer forward. These terms continue to apply under the new owner unless replaced by an updated version posted on this page.
06Changes to these terms
Terms may be updated from time to time, with the current version always available on this page. Continuing to use MergeCam after a change means you accept the updated terms.
